The brand new Mr. and Mrs. Dave Barker
On Friday, May 7, 2004 Dave and Jeanie were married just outside of Atlanta, GA. The ceremony was outside, the weather was perfect, and most of the guests traveled thousands of miles to get there. Dave's family is from Alaska and Jeanie's live in Texas, there I was thinking the 1200 miles I drove was a long trip. They made the wedding into a family reunion of sorts, there were festivities the whole weekend but I had to take off early to make it home. The best part of the reception was that they had a keg of everyone's favorite beer from back in the day, Pabst Blue Ribbon. I felt it necessary to put down no less than a dozen, for old times sake of course. Enjoy the pics and feel free to check out Dave and Jeanie's website with the link on the left.

Jeanie arrived to the ceremony by carriage

Standing up there, all by yourself, soon I will feel exactly what that is like
Jeanie and her Dad walking down the isle, Dave provided the music on his acoustic guitar

The ceremony was really nice, it was much different than any I had seen before, it wasn't as scripted, which made it so much more personal

Dave designed both of their wedding rings himself and had them made by a metal smith, we would expect no less from Dave

This may be the first time I have seen either Dave or Jeanie dressed up, damn they look good!

Dave's Dad made a great toast, Jeanie's Dad did too but I couldn't get a picture
