Our Tattoos

Here are a few pictures of some of our tattoos.  I have my left sleeve, my left chest/ribs and a couple on my back and other places.  Lisa only has a couple small ones on her back and wrists, you should be able to tell which are those.  Most of them were completed by the artists at Love Hate Tattoo in Rochester, NY.  Some of these pictures aren't so great but you should be able to get the idea.  Enjoy.

February 4th, 2005:  Jet from Love-Hate started the chest/rib piece and completed it on March 31st, 2005.  We got the entire piece done in just about 16 hours, he tattoos like a steam roller!  If you click on the image you can see pictures from the previous sittings, we got it finished in 5 sittings, one every other weekend for almost two months.  I'm pretty sure that if you could somehow total up the amount of pain felt from all the tattoos I have, it wouldn't be close to how much just the line work for this one hurt, but I'll be alright.  They tell me that the reason we got it done in half of the time we expected to finish was because I sit very well, I can't help but think they say that to everyone though :)

UPDATE!!  Jet finished the thigh piece that is tied into the ribs on January 5, 2006.  Click on the image above to see the images from each sitting, beginning to end.  I'm mostly naked so some might think it's a bit graphic, you've been warned!. 

March 6, 2006:  The orange used for the koi on my forearm had almost entirely faded away in the last few years, even though I take good care of it and keep it out of the sun.  Jet re-lined and re-shaded it for me this weekend.  It really jumps off my arm now! 

October 22, 2006:  I was able to set up a trip to the State of Grace tattoo convention in San Jose, CA.  Jet made the trip too and was able to put together an amazing addition to my chest/ribs/thigh piece.  Check out the pictures here and under 'Adventures' to the left.
