Utility Trailer Improvements

I picked up this utility trailer at Home Depot last year just after purchasing my Honda Rincon ATV so I could transport it with the Element.  It was very affordable and seemed to be built very well.  A couple of things have broken but nothing that I couldn't fix and that the company wouldn't take care of, things like tail lights and wheel bearings.  We noticed recently that almost all of the welds that hold the side panels on were broken and that the plywood decking was starting to crack and peel.  This is what I've done to fix it.

The old plywood was starting to crack and wasn't that great when it was new

The new plastic plywood looks a lot better and will outlast the trailer by decades

The decking is holding up very well besides the rubber marks from the Rincon's tires

Bearing Buddies will help keep the wheel bearings from going without grease

The normal bulbs are constantly breaking, these LED bulbs should resist the vibration more

A local welding shop repaired all the broken welds, they even added braces to keep it from breaking again
