Jay's 2005 Honda Rincon

So after we figured out that the place we were moving to had a nice garage and was in a small rural town that has a bunch of trails to ride on I decided that it was time to get a new toy.  I did lots of research and decided on Honda's flagship ATV, the Rincon.  It has 4-wheel independent suspension, a 650cc 4-stroke engine, selectable 2wd/4wd, digital speedometer and a 3-speed Hondamatic transmission with push button shift. So far I have ridden it a few times back in NH on the trails that I grew up riding on, the thing rides like an SUV!  I will be adding pictures as I get out more and more on it and add more accessories.  Enjoy the pics.

08.05.2004Kevin and I started the break-in at the Success Pond Trail in Berlin, NH

08.22.2004Gregg, my father and I hit the Success Pond Trail in Berlin, NH and then the Mt. Washington Auto Road

10.22.2004Kevin, Sean, Gregg and I checked out the trails that the NCATV club maintains in North Stratford, NH, cut short by a flat tire

10.30.2004Lisa got me new tires for my birthday, what more could a guy want?

11.07.2004Gregg and I rode the new NDATV club trails in New Durham, NH and put the new tires to the test!

11.11.2004:  Gregg and I hit the NCATV club trails one last time for the year, there was already snow on the ground!

11.20.2004I put in a very low bid on a Warn front bumper and actually won, check it out

12.26.2004The holidays were very kind to the me and the Rincon, we got a cover and a Warn 2.5ci winch with synthetic cable and billet fairlead

03.01.2005The hawse fairlead started to fray the synthetic cable the first time I tested it so I replaced it with the rollers and also installed a RAM mount for my Garmin 60CS GPS, summer will be here soon!

03.21.2005An HMF Utility Series pipe, K&N Filter, and Dynojet jet kit are on the way, as soon as it warms up a bit we'll get it installed and tuned, can't wait to see the power increase and hear the pipe!

04.23.2005 Got the pipe, filter and jet kit installed but the Quiet-Core insert for the pipe hasn't showed up yet.  I got it started but not tuned, that pipe is really loud!!

05.29.2005 Gregg and I rode the NCATV trails for the first time of the season.  Everything is installed and tested out, just needs a little more tuning to be perfect!!

07.22.2005 The pipe is back to stock and thought it was tuned, overheating but had a great ride at Success Pond with Eric, up Mount Washington for a sunset ride too, didn't see much sunset in the rain though!!

09.04.2005 Lisa and I were able to borrow Kevin's truck and take the Rincon and the Foreman 400 up Mt. Washington, she loved it!!

10.01.2005 My brother and I rode the NCATV trails on Saturday and the Success Pond trail with Eric early Sunday morning.  Dave was riding the Forman 400 most of the time, I figured I'd let him try riding in style in the Rincon once or twice!

07.30.2006 I made it out for a ride with some new friends out here in Washington.  The place we went is shared by motorcross, ATV and 4 wheel drive trucks, it was amazing!

10.21.2007 The Rincon and I parted ways, it was a great ride and it will be missed but it has a better home now.  Since I broke my leg and got a new job I haven't had time to ride so it was just taking up space and costing money, its new owner has a place in the mountains and will ride it much more than I can here in the burbs.
