Sprinker System Repairs

This is the valve that didn't work and needed to be moved outside, excess pressure in the system can be released here and would ruin the walls.

I replaced the valve with pipe and installed the new valve where it belongs.

The new valve actually works and water can leak back out if it has to.

The pipe from the valve to the sprinkler heads didn't leave the house where I thought it did so I had to replace some of it.

Here is the box after it was all finished, the way it should have been installed in the first place.

Here is the culprit, a bad solenoid, we ended up replacing the whole valve assembly, it was only a couple more dollars.

I also replaced five heads in the front yard, the old ones wouldn't retract after they shut off.

I used these metal heads near the sidewalk so they are less likely to get broken.

This is the controller for the whole system, the rain sensor will be wired in here.

It's tough to see but all six heads are working perfectly.

I finally solved the water hammer issue with this sprinkler zone, while I was at it I replaced the PVC with copper and added a valve for Winter shutoff.
