Snoqualmie River, Summer 2009

We've seen lots and lots of people floating down the Snoqualmie river many times in Fall City and have always thought about doing it ourselves.  The weather this July was so hot that we got everything together and did the float from the falls to Fall City two days in a row!  We picked up a raft so we could have drinks and snacks along and joined some friends that were pro at it.  Here are a few pictures, it was a great time and we can't wait to do it again! 

The first turn on the river from where we put in has a big rope swing, Lisa rocked it, I was too chicken though.

Eric got the leftover tube, it was pretty small, they eventually doubled up on one of the bigger ones so eric wouldn't have to use the kiddie tube :)

If we would have stayed there all day Lisa would have just kept jumping!

The second day Theresa and John both went too, I didn't get a good shot of John though.

You can see the rest of the gang up river, they all had awesome tubes with cup holders that the margaritas we made fit perfectly in!

Isabela got stranded away from the group for a while, she had a drink though so she was fine until we rescued her with the raft :)

I got to steer the raft through the few very small rapid sections, it was pretty fun and the raft we got did awesome.

After we got well done in the sun the first day we had John and Theresa join us the next, it was that fun!

I finally found a hat that I like for the second trip, I had to do something about the sun on my head!

Near the end of the float there is large log that tons of people were jumping off of, Lisa had to give it a try.

John had to show everyone up when it was his turn to go.
