Bavarian Autosport Show & Shine 2003

Well seeing as my two best friends work there I figured I should show my face this year and check out some of the rides that show up.  To my surprise at about 9:30am a McLaren F1-LM drives up to the gate, talk about a once in a lifetime sighting.  This thing is one of 5 built and I'm told the price tag is around $2 million.  It sounds like a pack of sport bikes when it's at idle and is no taller than my waist, amazing to finally see one in person, I was glad I made it after all, drop me an email if you want high resolution printable images, I have tons!

There is no more than 2" of ground clearance under the front spoiler

It is a little difficult to read at this resolution but it says Chassis No. LM3

That is a BMW M3 right behind it and the roof barely comes up to the hood level

I never got a picture with the car but someone else did, proof that I was really there

Apparently huge Brembo calipers like this don't have an emergency brake built in, hence the extra one
